Well - three of us came to the separate conclusions at work - yesterday , that we all fancied a half day holiday .Christine our admin’ gal just went ahead and took it while Keith and I just waited till we saw the first rays of the current bun ( sun ), before committing .
Unfortunately - It remained cloudy all day yesterday , but I reckoned it was to be a nicer day tomorrow , and of course this was to be held against me by Keith - . especially as it dawned very , very cloudy – today., as the rest of the morning was taken up sorting out a problem caused by two of our amateur , but very enthusiastic staff - connecting a piece of equipment up - wrongly .
I reckon trades people in general, must just love putting right the problems caused by these - amateur enthusiasts, especially the bit at the end when they produce the large bill , to the embarrassed customer .
I will have a go at most things , but call me a realist if you like , as I do realise when I’m out of my depth , and will then leave it to the professionals , especially as the problem we had could have been avoided, and we would be £510.00 richer as a consequence.
