Guns are something I don’t really have strong opinions on either way except - they are probably in my opinion - a necessary evil.
That aside – you may not know that - guns in the U.K. were probably just as common here , as in the U.S.A in the early part of the century.
Well that was until our government decide that they didn’t really want a revolution , so they took them off everyone.
To be perfectly honest - revolution has never really been in the blood of people here in the U.K. , and this is probably because we cannot be bothered with all the aggravation that goes with it :) , but I always reckon if your citizens have the right to own fully automatic weapons , it may make a modern government think twice about its actions :)
Although I think you can probably still legally own a bow and arrow in the U.K. - but don’t quote me on that :)
English Washing Powder

Hmmm …….this doesn’t quiet have the ring of its South American counterpart – that supposedly makes you march a lot :) , but it will have to do .
I discovered a while ago that if you soak your cups and cutlery in a solution of washing powder and water , it totally and utterly , removes all the stains completely.
So I took a bag of washing powder to work with me today , to clean up all the stuff I have there - I then walk in to the office with a Ziploc bag full of white powder and then ask if anybody want’s some , and wonder why I get a load of horrified looks…….
They must have all been Columbians :)
