Well the very , very “ sad “ news reaches me last week - that one in four of our “wonderful “ politicians , are now saying they would not have even entered a career in politics if they knew how “ badly” they were going to be treated over the recent expenses scandal in the U.K. .
Which , to my mind , is rather like saying ……. criminals wouldn’t have chosen their particular career if they knew they were going to end up in jail , and this has got to be a very apt analogy – considering .
Now - I’m just wondering if they are really stupid enough to come out with this statement by themselves , or someone has told them to do it , because bearing in mind all that has gone before - its not really a bright thing to do – is it.?
Especially as they have just voted themselves a nice …£1000 …….pay rise ……!!! .
Sorry about using the cat food advert as a title , but the 1in 4 aspect just seemed to fit, and as all cat owners , myself included will tell you - cats are all very ruthless and self centred as a rule , but extremely charming - when they actually want something……
…………..usually food ………..or maybe a vote at the next election …….:)

Now as you all know I tend to set off to work very , very early , and today was the first day the sun was actually up on my journey , just briefly – mind , but enough to bathe the land in gold – momentarily………………
This early in the morning , their tends to be no one else around , and just at the instant the sun came up it was very quiet , prompting an only person on earth moment , and It actually looked like the top of the trees were fleetingly on fire.
This, as I’ve said in the past , tends to only happen a few times a year due to the position of the sun , and I unfortunately forgot my camera today , but seeing as our crackpot system of daylight saving comes in on Sunday, I’ll maybe have another go next week , and it will be “hilarious” riding along on my mountain bike DSLR slung around my neck :)
