Occasionally - you get a few of our guy’s working away on contracts , and they are usually expected to make their own accommodation requirements , and this of course leads to a whole load of confusion , and a long list of very odd places – booked..
I saw a brochure of the latest place they were intending to stay at , on some ones desk – today , and to be honest it looked like a 1980’s knocking shop , with the rooms probably hired out by the hour – if you know what I mean :) , but of course it gets even better with the recent history of the place - in which it was part of a police shoot out in a abduction and murder case , a few years ago…………………………

Evil Don was then winding everyone up , by saying the place was ran by once -
punk / pop star - Toyah , and I must admit the photo’s of the girls in the brochure do look ever so slightly like her - on a dark moonless night at the bottom of the sea - that is :)
I occasionally get the offer to go on these wonderful jaunts , but after the guy’s reckoned they got a date rape - drug , put in their drinks at another hotel a few years
ago - I declined , although the “ pop / punk - murder hotel “ seems strangely attractive after that one :)

There’s this guy in our office called Steve , who is without doubt the biggest gloater in the world - no exaggeration , as he goes on and on and on , about totally and utterly insignificant things for hours and hours and hours, ……………………
Ok you get the picture - today - the particular object of Steve’s
“ loving affection” was a sausage and bacon sandwich – yes really.
Now it got so bad - Steve actually took a photograph of his sandwich , and e- mailed it to one of our guys , who is on holiday .
Needless to say Steve wasn’t very pleased with the return e- mail , which went along the lines of………………………
