Well - I did originally think I’d have to severely amend my working times due to this secondment , but after yesterdays goings on it seems not - for a while at least :)
Now as you all know I usually go to work fairly early , but with this secondment supposedly starting – yesterday , I set off at 8.30am .as opposed to the usual 6.00am.
The first part of my journey involved passing the dreaded parents dropping their severely overweight offspring’s off at school - as I went - counting “only” four near misses in the space of 100 yards ( 80m ) , leaving me to wonder if anyone there - actually had a driving licence :)
The worst bit though was missing the solitude , rising sun and the various animals scurrying around on the countryside part of my journey , and after a slightly amended route I arrived for my secondment – raring to go ……….. or so I thought…………….
The whole of yesterdays farce would have been made slightly easier if we were actually informed that the process wasn’t going ahead in a timely fashion , as opposed to several hours later , but at least e did put the time to good use by discussing politics and of course the upcoming election in the U.K.
I do admit - the majority of Union Rep’s tend to have Socialist leanings , and I do to an extent , but it all ends there as regards my own political views , which it seemed – horrified several of my colleagues, and this turned to absolute terror or so it seemed :) , when I started talking about ……….
…….* GASP *……not voting …!!!
To be honest I’ve heard all the arguments against not voting , so none of what people were saying were new to me – unfortunately , but I’m sure what I was saying was new to them .
Now if people want to vote - please , please do so – it is your right , but to be honest I cannot - in my own conscience - vote for a corrupt / hypocritical system that I fundamentally do not believe in - merely because I can…….
……….but hey that my right - too:)

正直に言うと私は投票していないに対するすべての引数を聞いたことがあるので、人々は私に新しいと言っていたか - 残念ながら、私は必ず私は彼らに新しいものだったと言っていたんのなし。
人々がしたい場合は今すぐ投票する - してください。くださいので - それはあなたの権利ですが、正直私は根本的に信じていない破損/偽善的システムのための自分の良心に私はできません - - 投票する - 単に私ができるので、... ...。
