Keith - our resident works maniac , announced yesterday he’d bought himself a cheap angle grinder a few weeks ago , which is basically - a high powered tool , with a spinning - cutting disc , that is usually used to cut and grind metal.
It was in the ….“I’ve got an angle grinder “…… sentence, that he then mentioned he was going to cut concrete with it ……………………………
Sorry for dipping in to the big box of boys big toys here - but concrete is usually cut with a very expensive - water cooled - Stihl saw , and not a low powered hardware store item , and to use an analogy , this is like using an old record deck to play a C.D. - i.e. totally the wrong tool for the job , but infinitely more “dangerous” than ruining your limited edition collectors item C.D. with a diamond stylus :)
I get the impression that Keith buys stuff , and finds a use for them later , hence the angle grinder purchase , and thus its use in a totally unsuitable way at a later date .
.Keith’s very colourful antics have been chronicled on here fairly well in the past ,
like - locking himself in the car and putting a steel rod through a gas pipe - to name but a few , so I dread to think what next week will bring.- probably a visit to casualty :)
