This morning - a sea of pinky / red lobster faces , which heralded the return back to work after the warm and sunny bank holiday in the U.K. , and in my case - the poor car was then forgotten , and collecting cobwebs, in favour of the racy red and black mistress that is the Harley Roadking ………………………………:)
The roads out in the dales and over the moors in my part of the world , tend to be relatively un crowded even on holiday weekends , hence I can ride around minus my helmet …. tsk…. tsk :) .
You should have seen the black looks I got off the “deadly serious and professional looking” people on bicycles , who - no doubt use them for an hour on a sunny Sunday afternoon and opposed to the 365 days a year like myself ………..

When I stopped , I was half expecting a gang of these outraged citizens to come over and give me a lecture about the bad example I was setting to their children , but the fact their children were sat on a £49.99 Halfords mountain bikes and not a 1550cc Harley , must have slipped their tiny - helmeted heads .
I therefore purposely slipped in to my “menacing persona” which may have put them off :) , as a few choice glances in their general direction had them return back to maybe considering a less contentious target , like little Johnny who dared to ride through a puddle without the appropriate safety equipment :)
Y ‘know - they wonder why some ( not all ) younger people behave the way that they do today .
Either - mollycoddled thirty something’s still living at home, or the animals you see running around on the streets , two extreme examples I admit , and yes I do realise and the majority of kids are great , but I personally blame society and the parents themselves for this , and its certainly not by following any example I set , because my two aims in life are truth and justice - albeit in an highly - unconventional manner :)
I suppose you could say my stuff on here sets a bad example to an extent , but in writing this I’m merely reporting the facts , which I try to neither condone or condemn , and I certainly do not force anyone to follow my own lifestyle , that as they say is rather like life - a personal choice :)
